“When women truly accept themselves for who they are, and feel fully comfortable within their own skin, they open up to something bigger – a sense of wonder and possibility. (…) As we abide by the laws of the universe, we tap into and unleash incredible powers of healing and creativity. We create our life as we would have it be.” ~ Randine Lewis, The Way of the Fertile Soul
We invite you to this circle of creativity for women, a safe space where we contain, support and move energy. Through this circle we want to bring clarity to the processes of your life as a woman through the practice of Womb Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Kirtan, Process Art and Watercolour Painting.
The first part of the circle will be guided by Dana Nedelcu, through the practice of Womb Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Kirtan. The space we will create together through these practices will support us in connecting with both presence and our inner shakti – the feminine qualities.
We will honour our changing states, the woman’s life rhythms and our nature that can amplify anything (female hormones are enhancers). We bring our presence to the mat and we will explore the sensuality of the moment through movement, as well as the person we are here and now. We will gently settle into the embracing practice of Womb Yoga.
Womb Yoga aims to bring awareness and respect to the experience of creativity, abundance and fertility of Shakti (feminine energy). In all the phases of a woman’s cycle (menstruation, pregnancy, lactation, menopause, etc.) we have the presence of the energy of the womb space – yonisthana chakra – which has the ability to bring us deep intuitive wisdom and reconnect us with the earth’s creative energies – fluidity, nourishment and fertility are the characteristics of this energy. We will end this practice with a Yoga Nidra session where we will reset the nervous system to be a calm and clear space so that we can receive all that we are in compassion and acceptance.
Then, through Bhakti Yoga/Kirtan, we connect with the space of the Heart to alchemise and move the emotions, as it is not healthy to contain too much of anything and everything needs movement and transformation. Sound is a wonderful way in which we can do this. Creativity is a natural expression on many levels that stagnates when we give up and block our energy flow. The result of this dynamic leads to suffering and over time to physical imbalance. Together we will explore the difference between release and giving up.
The second part of the circle will be guided by Clara Durán, through Process Art and Watercolour Painting. We will ask ourselves what does free expression mean and let go anything that feels unauthentic and no longer serves us. We will free ourselves from the patterns that limit us, those beliefs inherited from society about how a woman should be and what she should do.
Creativity is a primal force that flows gracefully when we honour the Cycles of Menstruation. Just like the moon does not shine full every day, neither is the woman in constant bloom – and each menstrual phase gives us unique beauty through which we can access the different dimensions of our being and feminine wisdom. This portal opens when we create from a place of love, acceptance and gentleness. Your womb is also a grail from which creative processes are born and your Life is a canvas of infinite possibilities.
We are called to fall in love with the process, to enjoy every moment in which we set creativity in motion. It’s not the result that’s important, it’s that we invest time in creating space to express our soul.
We will explore watercolour, a technique that invites us to flow with water – the feminine element – and allows us to travel through multiple layers. The watercolor kit is a gift and you will be able to take it home with you to continue painting.

About the facilitators:
❁ Dana Nedelcu is a Yoga facilitator, accredited by Yoga London. She has been practicing yoga consciously since 2006 and has been a dedicated student/master of the Crimson Circle ever since, supporting consciousness on earth and Life lived in Grace and Mastery, in the New Energy. Dana facilitates experiences of Hatha Yoga: Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yin Yoga, and Kirtan: Nada and Bhakti Yoga. She is passionate about the beautiful way these experiences support us in moving blocked energies to reach clarity of feeling and thus allow ourselves with ease and freedom to be the creators (the experiencing soul) that we are.
In addition to Yoga, which is the manifestation of the safe space where the relationship between consciousness (soul) and energy is beautifully explored, Dana likes to celebrate life and existence through all its forms of expression: art, communion with nature and animals, food, friendship, science, magic, etc. Dana is also a Massage/Bodywork Therapist, Conscious Breathing Facilitator, New Energy Guide, Death and Birth Transition Facilitator.
❁ Clara Durán is a synesthetic artist who investigates the extraordinary relationship between women and water – with a special interest in rivers – as well as the activation of the four elements in the imagination. She proposes photography through an open, interdisciplinary and experimental perspective that establishes connections with painting, poetry and sound recording. Thus, the different languages intertwine in the same artistic body and the sensory, material, spiritual and symbolic dimensions are intertwined.
She graduated in Fine Arts at the Universidad Complutense Madrid with studies at Loyola University of Chicago and later completed a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts at the University of the Arts London. She is currently developing her PhD thesis in Fine Arts at UCM Madrid. On the other hand, she has had the opportunity to learn in India, Colombia and the Peruvian Amazon, about spiritual practices, ceremonies and rituals with different masters. Since 2017, she has been teaching creativity and photographic art through various workshops and seminars.
